"I saw some Artificial Grass that had mold on it. It was also like a pond whenever it would rain. What do you do about drainage, mold, and moisture?"  Properly installed synthetic turf is valuable for the longevity of your new lawn. The most important question you should ask is in regards to Drainage!
Where will the moisture go? Notice how I said moisture not water? Key factor, water will drain through the turf and the sub base evenly, but what about after that? As a state licensed contractor holding a C-27 landscape, and a D-12 synthetic products license including Artificial Grassin the state of California we have the profiles to solve those problems. So what about mold? Moisture build up can create an odor, along with mold and other nasty elements. Our state of the art infill called Durafill will not clog the drainage holes in the artificial grass (synthetic turf) or compact like sand infill does. Its non-absorption properties keep the turf clean and smelling good and pets will love that! But remember all turf needs to be rinsed and groomed (raked) as needed depending on conditions. |
